Getting kids outside when they are young is important for their development and for the planet’s future.
Our Outdoor Wilderness enrichment program is the backbone of our youth experiences. We love being able to bring the wilderness adventure to your child’s school! Using the school’s natural surroundings and a bit of imagination, we introduce kids to a variety of ways to explore the outdoors and show them just how much fun it can be. Our course content varies every quarter, by school and based on the interests of our groups, but activities may include: shelter building, map and compass navigation, native flora & fauna identification, camp craft, primitive fire lighting, camp cooking, and more!
We run summer camps in conjunction with Mercer Island Parks & Recreation, several different YMCAs, and the Meridian School. For more information, visit the websites of our summer partners.
